The first feature
film to be produced by the
Studio is 'Blimmin' Virus of the Damned', a horror comedy

With the help of Krystyna and everyone at Multi media Arts, Peter applied and succeeded in winning a grant from the BIG BOOST scheme run by the national Lottery and the Princes Trust. the project was to be community led and would involve people from all walks of life in the locale, interested in participating in expanding their knowledge of film development.
The project is currently being finished and has taken over a year in the making due to the small budget and availablity of cast and crew.
A trailer has been produced for the film and is available on both youtube and facebook through the links provided.
the '...Virus...' film will premiere early in 2009 in the newly refurbished ground floor of the studio.
So Who on earth is Pete Lankston?
Pete is a filmmaker that works within M-MAD as a media facilitator as well as an independent filmmaker, writer and artist.
Pete specialises in genre films such as horror and art house, as well as many other media outlets including special and visual effects within small budgeted resources.

ASCENTION MEDIA has a great deal of new projects on their way from M-MAD studio
in predproduction is: 'DREAMS' a film about a young man who has had enough of the violence of the world.
'NOIR' filmed in the style of SIN CITY about a jaded detective on a missing person case.
'THE ROOM' (working title) as man finds himself trapped in a series of repetitive rooms,
with no visible way out...
'DEATH CAMPING' four young kids unwittingly get in the way of some disgruntled locals.
PETE LANKSTON is writing his first novel 'THE OTHER ARK'.
also from ASCENTION MEDIA comes the offbeat play 'PICTURE PERFECT' a take on the picture of Dorian Grey.
